Power-only trucking & trailer moves
Have a trailer and need a tractor and driver? MSA Logistics Group coordinates power-only transportation inquiries for businesses, traveling shows and equipment owners. Send your trailer specifications and schedule so we can review the move.
Plan the move around your trailer
Power-only service uses a carrier’s tractor to move a compatible customer-supplied trailer. Trailer condition, connection type, loaded weight and the delivery plan determine which equipment and carrier arrangements are appropriate. A trailer move requires more information than pickup and delivery ZIP codes.
What to include in your quote request
- Pickup and delivery locations, release time and arrival deadline
- Trailer type, length, height, loaded weight and number of axles
- Coupling type, brake and electrical connections, and any special tractor requirements
- Trailer ownership or authorization, roadworthiness and available inspection information
- Whether the trailer is loaded or empty, its contents, and whether it stays at destination or returns
Carnival and fairground trailer transportation
For show equipment, include teardown timing, site access and the next event’s setup deadline. Tell us whether you need one trailer moved or several moves reviewed together. Carrier acceptance, trailer requirements, coverage and any permits must be confirmed before dispatch.
Common shipping questions
Does power-only include a trailer?
The customer supplies the trailer. If you also need a trailer, request the appropriate full transportation service and include your freight dimensions and weight.
Can you quote an empty trailer move?
Yes. Send the trailer specifications, condition, locations and schedule. Availability and suitability are reviewed before booking.
Can you move every type of carnival trailer?
Suitability depends on the trailer and its requirements. Share the connection details, dimensions, weight and photos so the move can be reviewed before confirmation.
